There was only 6' of cabinet space inside. |
Then we excavated and constructed a block foundation. |
After getting the outside weather tight, we began building partitions for a powder room with shower |
And over the next few days, we installed the cabinets |
and measuring less than 9' wide, this room needed to be opened up |
And when the framing went up, the look of a new 16'x16' kitchen began to appear. |
After the insulation was installed, we began to drywall all surfaces |
So we started by tearing off the existing kitchen and covered entry. |
By incorporating the reverse gable roof line, we were able to gain about 12" of ceiling height! |
In order to help cut costs, the homeowner painted all the walls and ceilings over the weekend. |
And finished off the powder room. |
